                                    The 6th Annual California Tamale Festival: In San Joaquin County Fair Grounds

 

San Joaquin County, CA – The Annual California Tamale Festival is staging at the San Joaquin County Fair Grounds for the sixth time – a one-day celebration scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025.  The fun, family event invites the community to the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds.  The event will host entertainment including live concert music, auto show (car, truck, motorcycle, hotrods, imports and vintage cars), food competitions, craft fairs, local talent shows, home shows, garden shows, arts and crafts and a Christmas Fair.  Children will enjoy special guest Spider-Man, Captain America, and Disney Princesses.  The kids’ zones including mini train rides, face painting, pet adoptions, a reptile show, a petting zoo, and more. 

 

The best local showcasing of tamales will be at Tamale Alley along with the Beer Boulevard and Margarita Alley.  Doors open at 11:00 am with live entertainment featuring some of the year’s popular bands by multiple musical genres.  “This event celebrates family traditions, while promoting the rich diversity found in the central valley,” remarked Armando Duldulao, Event Producer.

 

The California Tamale Festival is the largest family gathering paying homage to tamales, one of Meso-America’s best-loved dishes.  It is also a great way to connect your business to the central valley’s families. 

 

The event’s extensive promotion includes’ a partnership with Cumulus Media with stations like the Hawk 104.1 FM; as well as, Spanish Radio station Radio Lazar, 93.5 FM and social media posts.  Also, sponsors will be recognized in marketing materials including over 20,000 posters and flyers to be distributed throughout the Counties of Merced, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin.
